The nose knows theres something unusual about a handful of monks in this comedy drama. Natasha (Grazyna Blecka-Kolska) is an artist with a talent for restoring old paintings, and shes hired to touch up some rare works at a monastery in Poland. Natasha and her daughter Gienia (Wiktoria Gasiewska) move into the monastery for the duration of the project, where Gienia strikes up a friendship with one of the monks, Brother Sanitas (Janusz Gajos). Gienia discovers the brothers raise money for their work by selling scraps of their worn out clothes, as the monks give off an unusual and pleasing aroma. When Natasha hears about this, shes intrigued, and as an amateur perfume maker, she tries to capture the scent in cologne. However, Natashas efforts to reproduce the bouquet are a failure, and after talking with Brother Sanitas she learns that theres something unusual about the monastery besides the fragrance — the ghost of a beautiful woman who died in the 1600s often visits the brothers at night.
