When tycoon developer Donald Trump sets out to build the worlds most luxurious golf resort, he selects the birthplace for the sport as his proposed site: a seaside village in Scotland. In particular, he settles on the picturesque town of Balmedie that is nestled between ancient sand dunes and rolling greens. However, a handful of residents are not so happy about the project, concerned over the impact it will have on their beloved natural habitat. As the development threatens to bulldoze their idyllic rural community, the locals hunker down for battle against what they see as strong-arm American tactics.
