A portrait of Siamese twins, Daisy and Violet Hilton, who were the highest paid act in vaudeville in the 30s and 40s. Their English mother sold them to her midwife in 1908, and from there on out, they spent their childhood on display in pubs and wax museums, carnivals and fairs. While they made a great deal of money as performers, they never saw a dime of it. Here, we trace the journey of their lives, while documenting the rich history of early American entertainment.
