A father tries to teach his son about responsibility the hard way, but the lesson doesnt take in this comedy drama from Uruguay-based filmmaker Manuel Nieto Nas. David (Pablo Riera Alexandre) is a young man in his early twenties who is taking the summer off from college and isnt interested in much besides getting high and indulging himself. Davids father Ruben (Martin Adjemian) has given David a project for the summer — building a cabin near the familys summer house — but with Ruben away, David has made no real progress on his assignment. When Ruben arrives to discover his house is a mess and David has barely started work on the cabin, he gives him an ultimatum, informing him he wont be able to return to school or stay in the house until the cabin has been completed to his satisfaction. Ruben then gives his son a budget for materials and money to cover the expenses; this proves to be a mistake, as David spends the cash partying, and when he and his pal Rodney (Sergio Gorfain) finally get to work, theres nothing left to buy the needed supplies.
